Thirty-foot containers were originally considered an ISO standard size; however, the size never caught on since it was not easily interchangeable with the common 20' and 40' sizes. Very few American companies used them - the only American 30-footers I know of were a small series owned by CTI. Nowadays these containers are only found in isolated service, mostly in Europe. This gallery is for standard-width (8'-0") 30' containers; extra-wide containers can be found in the European Domestic Container Gallery.
