Denver 11/4/01 Another shot of the westbound "rocket train."
East Portal 9/23/06 After patiently waiting in the not-so-warm weather conditions I finally get an eastbounder coming out of the tunnel. Unfortunately it had this scuzzy old SP unit on the point (patched as UP 6269).
Pinecliffe 9/23/06 With the weather getting worse at East Portal I decided it would be best to head back down the mountain and chase UP 6269 east. Here we see it east of Pinecliffe passing a nice aspen grove near the east end of the siding.
