	Tunnel 14	8/12/00	A string of ATSF hoppers are mixed into the famous "blue coal train" between Tunnels 14 and 15. The train is eastbound, and the end-of-train pushers can be seen in the background across the valley.

NEW!	Mesa	12/31/06	DODX 38880 - a radioactive cannister car.
	Tunnel 12	6/2/01	DRGW 093, a pile-driver crane, is the first car in a four-car M.O.W. train. Behind it is gondola RGAX 30220 and an unknown flatcar. Motive power was DRGW 5342.
	Tunnel 12	6/2/01	The eastbound pile driver train disappears around the corner into Tunnel 11.
	Coal Creek Canyon	5/7/99	A sad sight for DRGW fans: a DRGW 4-bay hopper in UP paint.

	Plainview	3/11/01	The snow is falling heavily around a westbound PSCX coal train.
	Tunnel 14	8/12/00	These are the infamous "blue" Southwest Forest Products hoppers. They're ACF Center Flow designs...very cool!!!
	Tunnel 27	10/9/99	A long string of empty UP aluminum hoppers snakes through South Boulder Canyon, just west of Tunnel 27.

	Big Ten Curve	7/22/00	Here is a nice view of Big Ten Curve looking south from on top of Tunnel 1. There is a westbound train heading upgrade on the curve.
	Tunnel 7	1/19/02	Nice shot of Tunnel 7 (one of my favorite tunnels).
	Tunnel 10	6/2/01	East portal of Tunnel 10. When you hike up the Rattlesnake Gulch trail in Eldorado Canyon State Park, you end up here. This is a truly spectacular part of the canyon, and if you're into hiking, I highly recommend you try this trail.
	Tunnel 12	6/2/01	West portal of Tunnel 12. Another nice art-deco-style portal. There are some decent photo opportunites between Tunnels 12 and 13.
	Tunnel 13	6/2/01	West portal of Tunnel 13. This is just a shot to prove I've been here, as this is a very difficult part of the line to get to. You're pretty far from anything at this point. Incidentally, the narrow-ness of the "shelf" here pretty much prohibits getting any decent pictures from this spot.
	Tunnel 15	8/17/02	West portal of Tunnel 15. Tunnel 14 is also visible through Tunnel 15. It would have been nice to have a train coming through Tunnel 14 in this shot, but you can't win them all!
	Crescent	4/21/01	A little fog to make things interesting. This day started out with bright sunshine. These are the signals on the approach to the west end of Crescent siding. The green light is for an eastbound BNSF manifest.

	between T-26 and T-27	1/7/01	A nice illustration of one of the frustrations of winter photography: long, low shadows. It's only about 1:00pm and the tracks are already in shadows. This view is looking east from Tunnel 27 towards Tunnel 26.

	East Portal	5/7/00	Here is a view looking west towards East Portal from the Rollins Pass grade. If you look closely, you can see a westbound train entering the tunnel. It's May, and there's still plenty of snow on the divide!
	East Portal	9/20/02	It's 10:00pm on a moonlit night just east of East Portal. We are at the grade crossing at East East Portal looking west towards the tunnel. With the moon out it was remarkably light up there once your eyes got used to it. Photo by Clint DeHerrera.
	East Portal	9/25/05	This view of East Portal shows the new barricades up. The USFS trailhead has also been moved to the north side of the tunnel. The trail now goes over the top of the tunnel to access the wilderness to the southwest. Also note all the new "No Trespassing" signs. Thanks a lot, UP!

	Tunnel 14	8/12/00	This little green snake was hanging out next to my tripod, so he deserved to get his picture taken.
