Comments: All cars are light blue overall. These cars are open-top versions of the popular ACF Center Flow covered hopper. Normally these cars operate on the BNSF between a coal mine in New Mexico and a paper mill in Holbrook, Arizona. However, in 2000 this train made several trips to a mine in western Colorado via the UP's Moffat route (see below).

Comments: In 2000 there were railfan rumors of a "blue coal train" spotted on the Moffat Route, and while hiking in the area on 8/12/00 I was lucky enough to see it. The train consisted of ~70 of the SWFX blue hoppers plus another ~35 ATSF hoppers behind UP power. This was the last known sighting of this train in Colorado.
